Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a Picker/Packer position! We are a full-service staffing firm where we work with companies in East Texas. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!
In this role, you will:

• Use order lists to gather items from master cartons (picking) and place them into containers (packing).
• Perform repetitive tasks such as loading products into designated boxes, packages, crates, and other receptacles.
• Count items placed into containers and verify against packing lists.
• Ensure all required items are included in each package.
• Use various packing materials such as paper, plastic, styrofoam, and other protective materials.
• Operate equipment such as shelves, racks, bins, pallets, carts, labelers, conveyor systems, hand trucks, forklifts, freight elevators, computers, barcode scanners, telephone systems, mail sorters, and pneumatic tubes.
• Fill orders, place products in boxes, and ensure items are clean and ready to ship.

• Ability to stand for long hours and perform tasks requiring heavy lifting.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Experience in warehouse or packaging operations is a plus.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer operation.
