Position: Household Manager or Assistant

Location: West Lake Hills, Austin, TX (with potential for travel)

Compensation: DOE; Employer-Paid Health Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision); PTO (7 sick days, 10 vacation days with prior approval)

Key Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with principals, family members (including young children and grandparents), coworkers, and vendors.
• Communicate clearly and effectively across various platforms (G-suite, Asana, messaging apps).
• Assist with care for a small to medium friendly dog, including walks, feeding, and vet/grooming visits.
• Maintain organization and efficient operation of the household.
• Oversee and coordinate with vendors and service providers.
• Perform light housekeeping and organization tasks, such as unloading the dishwasher, taking out trash, and caring for plants.
• Supervise renovations and construction projects.
• Assist with interior decorating and possess a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Conduct resourceful research and use discretion in decision-making.
• Manage calendars and assist with scheduling.
• Help with trip planning and event coordination.
• Organize and manage mail and documents.
• Handle expenses, reporting, and budgeting tasks.
• Care for the auto fleet, including fueling, car washes, and maintenance scheduling.
• Be proactive in assisting with various tasks, from reheating and serving food to tackling other household needs.
• Assist in hiring and sourcing for additional positions, such as Nanny, Housekeeper, or Chef.

Requirements:

• Legal to work in the United States with clear background checks.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for errands.
• Minimum of 30 hours per week, typically a standard M-F schedule, with occasional evening and weekend requests.
• Flexibility and adaptability to varying household needs and schedules.
